God’s Plan
Many people have questions about what happens after one dies. The truth is that, there is life after death. What happens beyond this life (after death) depends on a very important decision everyone has to personally make while alive. This decision is whether or not we receive God’s free gift of salvation to us.
Our Sin
Because of the sin of Adam and Eve, each one of us is born with the nature of sin in us.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
God’s Gift to Us
We do not have the power to reconcile ourselves to God, no matter how good we try to be. However, God loves us so much, and has divinely made a way for us to be reconciled to Him by sending us the gift of His son Jesus Christ.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
Accepting God’s Gift
Friend, our reconciliation to God is very simple. He asks that we repent of our sins, turn back from them and accept the gift of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross and resurrection for us.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9
God guarantees salvation to whoever calls on Him.
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10:13
You can call on Him today by this simple prayer:
“Dear God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin, shed His blood for my salvation, and resurrected from the dead so that I can live a life of victory in Him. In my heart today, I repent of my sin; and with my lips I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord, and I accept Him as my personal savior. Thank you for the gift of Salvation!”
